The coin’s reverse showcases a dynamic scene from outback Australia. Clockwise from the right, a dingo howls from its rocky perch, a crocodile looms as it raises its head from the water, two kangaroos pause to drink from the riverbed, and a frilled‑neck lizard rests on a nearby rock. Above, a powerful wedge‑tailed eagle soars with four companions following in formation.
In the distance, emus stride across a mountainous landscape, gazing toward the horizon. In the foreground of the design is beautifully coloured Australian native flora, including Sturt’s Desert Peas and poached egg daisies.
