Rome Hadrian 117-138AD Sestertius Poor

This Roman bronze sestertius of Emperor Hadrian (AD 117–138) offers a tangible connection to one of Rome’s most admired rulers, despite its heavily worn condition. The surviving obverse portrait provides a glimpse of Hadrian’s distinctive features, capturing the image of the emperor who ruled during a period of stability, prosperity, and cultural growth throughout the Roman Empire.
