GB 1935 King George V Jubilee Crown MS63
Tax included.
During King George V’s reign, crown coins were regularly minted, but 1935 saw a unique issue to celebrate his Silver Jubilee—marking 25 years on the throne.
Amidst the turmoil of World War I, George V renounced the royal family’s German title, Saxe-Coburg-Gotha, adopting "Windsor" as the new dynastic name. This change symbolised a shift toward a more modern monarchy, in step with the sweeping social transformations taking place across Britain in the early 20th century.
