This 55 mm bronze medallion, designed by Andor Meszaros and struck by Pinches & Co London, commemorates the Centenary of Victoria’s Separation from New South Wales (1851) and the Golden Jubilee of Australian Federation (1901). Limited to 102 pieces, its obverse depicts a nude man with two children symbolising the new nation and its former colonies, while the reverse bears a Latin inscription celebrating 100 years of progress and 50 years of Federation.
