Big Swoop is a 2.4-meter-tall, 3.5-meter-long sculpture of an Australian magpie pecking at a chip, created by Canberra artist Yanni Pounartzis. Installed in Garema Place in March 2022, it became an iconic landmark after a brief period of vandalism and repair. In late 2024, it was relocated to Petrie Plaza for urban redevelopment.
