2021 Chad Forbidden Dragon 2oz Silver Antiqued Coin w/ 8oz Copper Core

The reverse of the coin depicts the Chinese Dragon rises from the surface with impressive detail, a realistic image that is brought to life through a distinct 3D feel. Surrounding the legendary creature are intricate motifs of more smaller dragons that lay against the mandala pattern. The pattern itself is an outstanding piece of work, its design drawn with inspiration from the caisson ceilings of the Forbidden City. The 2 Oz Silver coin is struck in a new minting technique that combines 8 Oz of Copper in between two layers of Fine Silver, resulting in super ultra-High Relief while being tapped off with Silver Antique Finishing. The technique allows the coin to have an incredible weight and feel in the hand together with 80 mm diameter size. The obverse of the coin depicts the Coat of Arms of Tchad and the inscriptions: "REPUBLIQUE DU TCHAD" - the issuing country, "10000 FRANCS CFA" - the face value and "2021" - the year of issue.
