The Holden FJ, produced from 1953 to 1956, is a celebrated icon of Australian automotive history. Building upon the foundation of the 48-215 (FX), the FJ introduced a bold new grille, increased chrome accents, and enhanced comfort features, particularly in the 'Special' trim. Offered in Standard, Business, and Special sedans, as well as coupe utility and panel van variants, the FJ catered to a diverse range of consumers. Its 2.15-litre inline-six engine delivered 65 bhp, providing reliable performance for the era. With over 169,000 units produced, the FJ solidified Holden's position in the market and remains a symbol of Australia's post-war industrial progress.
