1923 Australian Halfpenny aVF/VF (Key Date)
Tax included.
If the 1930 Penny is the 'King' of predecimal coinage the 1923 Halfpenny would be the logical 'Prince'.
With an estimated mintage of just 15,000 it is incredibly rare and particularly in higher grades.
This example exhibits partial centre diamond on the crown of King George V as well as six pearls. Die cracks are also present in the legend which is characteristic of this year.
