The 1916(M) Australian Florin was struck at the Melbourne Mint during the reign of King George V, marking the return of florin production to Australia following several years of overseas manufacture. Struck in 92.5% sterling silver and weighing 11.31 grams, the coin features the Australian coat of arms on the reverse.
This example has been graded AU58, placing it just below the uncirculated grade and indicating excellent detail with only minimal signs of handling.
